The Department of Human Services is committed to building an accessible and inclusive South Australia. We are proud to launch our disability access and inclusion plan. We are taking real action to reduce barriers faced by people living with disability. To develop our plan, we listened to people with lived experience, and we have made commitments that will: build socially inclusive communities, provide people living with disability a greater role in leading and contributing to decision-making, make South Australia’s public and community spaces, information and services more accessible, create access to inclusive places of study, and pathways to meaningful and inclusive employment and volunteering. We are guided by one core principle: to always acknowledge and respect the crucial role that people living with disability play in shaping our community. We invite you to play your part in building an accessible and inclusive South Australia.
