In and around your home

Our therapists provide comprehensive assessment, help you set meaningful goals, make individualised recommendations and provide appropriate therapy as required by you. We can also train those who support you in any recommendations we have made.

Our experienced occupational therapists and physiotherapists can work with you to:

  • Increase your independence and safety with daily living activities like showering/bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, cleaning and household tasks.
  • Enhance how your access and move around your home and reduce the risk of falls or injury in and around your home. This may including recommending home modifications.
  • Support you to select assistive technology (equipment) to help you control devices in your home such as TV, telephone, lights and doors.
  • Optimise your ability to transfer safely and confidently from one surface to another, for example from a wheelchair to a bed.
