DHS Disability Services is undergoing a transition to align with the National Disability Services Scheme (NDIS). This includes re-shaping many of our systems, processes and practices.
We are working in consultation with clients, their families and decision-makers, staff and the disability sector.
DHS is a registered NDIS provider, delivering:
- home and living supports (supported independent living)
- specialist support coordination
- specialist behaviour support
- community participation
- transportation
- community nursing
- assistive technology and equipment.
We can also support NDIS participants with access to other nursing supports and allied health professionals, such as occupational therapists, speech pathologists, psychologists and dieticians.
NDIS Schedule of Rates
DHS Disability Services is a registered NDIS provider supporting people funded through different programs including the NDIS, Disability Support for Older Australians (DSOA), My Aged Care and the Lifetime Support Scheme (LSS).
Specifically relating to NDIS participants, the following information outlines rates that DHS Disability Services is charging for NDIS services relating to:
- transport
- community nursing care, and
- community participation.
As a registered NDIS provider our prices are in line with the NDIS Schedule of Rates.
Temporary Transition Payment (TTP) notice
Community participation rates, which include a TTP, are set by the National Disability Insurance Authority (NDIA). The TTP rate is an acknowledgement that costs for newly registered Providers, like DHS Disability Services, is higher as they adapt to delivering services under the NDIS.
