Power to end violence against women

2017-08-03

Together with Centacare, the State Government has committed to helping fund the Power to End Violence Against Women program for another three years.

Through the program, Port Adelaide Football Club ambassadors, Travis Boak, Matthew White, Ollie Wines, Russell Ebert and Gavin Wanganeen, visit schools to help young men make informed choices to prevent violent behaviour.

In 2016, more than 1500 male year 10 students from 21 schools across South Australia took part in the initiative, learning about respect, trust, gender equality, and the dangers of abusive behaviour.
