Submissions open to community groups for $25,000 Playford Alive Initiatives Fund
Community groups in Adelaide’s northern suburbs can apply for a share of $25,000 from the Playford Alive Initiatives Fund for projects and initiatives that protect and enhance the social, economic and environmental wellbeing of the community.
Grants are open to community groups and organisations located within or near the Playford Alive project area, including Smithfield Plains, Davoren Park, Munno Para, Andrews Farm, and Penfield.
The fund is an initiative of Renewal SA and the South Australian Housing Trust, and is supported by the City of Playford.
Since being established in 2009, more than $715,000 has been provided to benefit more than 50 community groups and individuals, as well as $1.25m for the upgrade of the John McVeity Centre and $2.25m towards the construction of the Stretton Centre.
Submissions close on 24 August 2017.
