Minda to manage ASSIST Therapy Services

One of South Australia’s oldest and most respected disability service providers – Minda – has been selected to manage the state’s ASSIST Therapy Services.

Minda is a highly regarded South Australian not-for-profit disability service provider, and will take over as the new provider of ASSIST by the end of 2018.

ASSIST Therapy Services provides high quality in-home and clinic-based allied health and therapy services – including occupational therapy, psychology, physiotherapy, speech pathology and dietetics – for adults with disability.

During a comprehensive tender process, Minda showed that it is an organisation that can deliver services to ensure ASSIST clients continue to receive the supports they need.

Under the agreement with Minda, all ASSIST Therapy Services staff will be offered the opportunity to transfer to the new provider with their terms and conditions.

ASSIST will continue to provide regular services and supports for its clients until the transition to Minda is complete.
