NAIDOC Week Family Fun Day
The DHS stand at this year’s NAIDOC Week Family Fun Day was a great success, with a big crowd taking advantage of the perfect weather. DHS was one of more than 40 representatives taking part in the event.
The stand featured the opportunity to contribute to a copy of the DHS Reconciliation artwork, Cultural Maintenance, as well as the chance to learn more about it using the interactive app.
Metropolitan Aboriginal Youth and Family Services had a badge-making station set up, which proved a huge hit. Chief Executive Tony Harrison also presented the NAIDOC Week Awards to Winnie Warrior and Tallara Rankine.
Thank you to everybody who helped make the day possible.
