The Department of Human Services has begun the search for young individuals under 29, to be nominated and awarded in the Department of Human Services sponsored categories.

The Award recognises contributions to LGBTIQA+ communities and to society as-a-whole, including leadership and exceptional performance. Nominations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people living with a disability and those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds are encouraged to help celebrate the full diversity of LGBTIQA+ communities.
