Apply now for grants to celebrate SA Youth Week 2023

SA Youth Week 2023 grant applications now open.

Grassroots organisations across South Australia are being encouraged to plan ahead for SA Youth Week (SAYW) 2023, with funding grants of up to $2,000 on offer to run youth-focussed events or activities in March and April next year.

SAYW is the state’s annual celebration of young people aged 12 to 24 and will be held from 24 March to 2 April 2023.

The grants are available to not-for-profit community groups, non-government organisations, local councils and state government agencies working with young people to help celebrate SAYW in their local community.

The grants aim to support events that showcase young people’s ideas, achievements and talents.

In previous years, SAYW events have spanned a wide range of interests and activities, from building robotic smart cars to a community radio open mic day, a poetry slam, virtual reality painting, and workshops about financial literacy and job skills. The possibilities are endless!

Embrace this opportunity to join the celebrations and play your part in positively impacting the future of young South Australians.

Applications for the SAYW grants are open until 3.00 pm, 19 January 2023.
