Shaquille Likouresis and John/Alex Kelly

Nominations for the 2023 7News Young Achiever Awards have launched and the search for outstanding young people in South Australia has begun.

Change someone’s life forever by nominating them, or a youth-led group, in the categories of:

  • Aboriginal Achievement
  • Pride Award
  • Community Service
  • Business
  • Leadership
  • Technology
  • Workplace Safety
  • Environment.

From the category winners, one person will be selected as the South Australian Young Achiever of the Year.

Winners are inspiring other young people

Last year’s winners were an inspiration to many young people, and their prize winnings have supported them to continue their great work!

Shaquille Likouresis was the winner of the 2022 Aboriginal Achievement Award, and he continues to support his community through his Community Constable role with SA Police, and 2022 Pride Award winner John/Alex Kelly is continuing his support and advocacy work with South Australian Sex Industry Network.

Each category winner receives a share of prizes worth a total of $30,000, and will be presented an award at the Gala Presentation Dinner in May 2023.
