A market sounding process to inform the transfer of the Domiciliary Equipment Service (DES) of South Australia to the non-government sector is underway.
Interested parties are invited to register to attend an industry briefing on the services DES provides.
DES manages the equipment and home modification needs of approximately 15,000 people in South Australia, including:
- clients from the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
- Department of Human Services
- a range of hospitals and community care agencies
- people privately hiring equipment.
While the market sounding process is underway, DES will continue to provide services as usual.

Registration of interest closes on Tuesday 22 January 2019 at 5.00 pm.
Parties that register their interest will then be provided details of industry briefing sessions.
