Applications for the 2019 Premier’s Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Volunteer Service are now open.
Organisations are encouraged to nominate high-achieving volunteers for a certificate on the Office for Volunteers website by 29 March 2019.
The Premier’s Certificate of Recognition acknowledges accomplishments, reinforces shared goals and is a sign of appreciation. It also assists volunteer-involving organisations to highlight the great work that their volunteers do day in, day out.
Selection for the certificates is based on volunteers meeting one or more of the following criteria:
- Made significant contribution to the community and/or organisation
- Provided ongoing commitment and dedication to volunteering
- Demonstrated leadership in their volunteer role
- Promoted volunteerism within the community.
Certificates will be distributed to volunteer organisations in early May for presentation during National Volunteer Week, which runs from 20 to 26 May 2019.
