DHS Safer Family Services accepts applications throughout the year for roles that improve the safety and wellbeing of children across the state.

We are looking for:

  • Practitioners
  • Project Officers
  • Community Development Coordinators
  • Supervisors
  • and a range of other roles.

About the role

In Safer Family Services (SFS) you will support families experiencing complex challenges to help keep their children at home, connected to family, community and culture.

You will be:

  • engaging with children
  • empowering families to achieve change
  • providing intensive case management services
  • providing project support to build and shape systems and services
  • working in partnership with other agencies.

We will provide:

Screening requirements

To apply, you must have a:

  • National Police Check issued within the last six months
  • DHS Working with Children Check.

Some roles may also require you to have a Full Australian Drivers Licence (equivalent to SA Class C).
