Homelessness

Homelessness can affect anyone—from single young people, families with children, to older persons – and the reasons are varied.

We are committed to working with partners in the homelessness and domestic and family violence system, to get the best outcomes for people experiencing, or are at risk of, homelessness.

We have established five Alliances as part of reforms to the homelessness system in South Australia to provide homelessness and Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) services across the state. These alliances are divided into four geographical regions across South Australia, with two metropolitan alliances and two regional alliances plus a state-wide domestic and family violence service, and work alongside a number of stand-alone specialist programs.
