New Grants Empower Communities to Bridge the Digital Divide

Communities across South Australia will gain greater access to digital technology and skills, thanks to the latest round of Grants SA Digital Inclusion funding of over $325,000, which has been awarded to organisations dedicated to improving digital access and literacy for those who need it most.
24 community organisations have been awarded funding to improve digital access, literacy, and inclusion to help ensure that all South Australians can participate fully in an increasingly digital world.
This funding round supports a range of initiatives, from digital literacy workshops to improving accessibility for vulnerable groups, ensuring that more South Australians can safely and effectively navigate the online space.
Among the 24 grant recipients are:
- Nharangga Aboriginal Progress Association, which will use its funding to empower Nharangga Learning with Interactive Whiteboard Technology.
- Multicultural Youth SA, delivering cyber safety workshops for young people, equipping them with the skills to navigate the internet securely.
- Access2Arts, focused on supporting artists with disabilities by enhancing the accessibility of digital services and providing tailored training programs.
- Ethiopian Community Association in South Australia, will run digital literacy workshops for migrants, helping them develop confidence in using online banking and social media safely.
The Grants SA Digital Inclusion Round ensures that communities across the state — from metropolitan areas to remote regions — have the opportunity to engage with digital technology in a meaningful way.
