Nominations are now open for the 2021 Premier’s Certificate of Recognition for outstanding volunteer service, to acknowledge volunteers who have gone over and above in serving their community.
The annual recognition program assists volunteer-involving organisations and community groups to recognise their volunteers for their accomplishments and contributions over the past year. Organisations are encouraged to nominate deserving volunteers by 26 March 2021 to show appreciation for their many hours of contribution.
In South Australia, volunteers contribute an estimated 1.7 million hours each week. This incredible donation of time, energy and skills ensures the wellbeing of our communities.
This year, certificates will be distributed in early May, for presentation during National Volunteer Week, which runs from 17 to 23 May 2021.
To be eligible, nominated volunteers must have made a significant contribution to the South Australian community, demonstrating leadership and an ongoing commitment to volunteering.
Deadline for nominations
Nominations close on 26 March 2021.
