Continence Resource Centre
The Continence Resource Centre (CRC) is a state-wide continence information and advisory service located at the Independent Living Centre (ILC).
There are many different causes of incontinence, and much can be done to improve or cure continence problems.
Continence Resource Centre services
The Centre is staffed by a registered nurse who provides information and advice on bladder and bowel problems. Our services include:
- information and advice on continence management and services
- continence product information, including an extensive product display at the centre
- continence fact sheets, booklets and brochures
- information on continence funding schemes
- health promotion activities
- education sessions and seminars.
Information is available to all community members, including people with incontinence, their families, carers and health professionals. Find equipment and products to help with continence in the Independent Living Centre online catalogue.
The Continence Resource Centre is affiliated with the Continence Foundation of Australia, the national peak body promoting bladder and bowel health. The Continence Foundation of Australia provides continence management information, project support and literature for distribution in the community.
The Continence Resource Center promotes the Continence Foundation of Australia's activities including World Continence Week.
