Youth Workers in Youth Justice

Are you interested in supporting and mentoring children and young people so they can thrive? Then this could be the role for you!

Working in a custodial facility, that provides a safe and secure environment for young people aged 10 to 21 years who are either in custody or have been refused police bail, you’ll help to:

  • increase young people's education, social and life skills
  • support their transition into the community and/or to reconnect with their family and culture
  • deliver programs and services that support development and rehabilitation.

To apply, you must have a:

  • National Police Check issued within the last 6 months
  • Working with Children Check
  • current First Aid Certificate
  • current Australian Driver’s Licence (equivalent to SA Class C).
