$755,000 in Grants supporting community-led projects across South Australia

Thirty-nine grassroots organisations across South Australia will share in more than $755,000 in funding through the latest round of the Grants SA Social Impact program.
This funding round is supporting a wide range of community-led initiatives, including youth leadership, disability inclusion, and safe spaces for connection and support. More than half of the funded projects are based in regional and remote communities, reflecting strong local engagement across the state.
Grants of up to $30,000 were available to eligible not-for-profits, Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, and certified social enterprises with annual revenue under $3 million. Funding was provided under two tiers:
- Tier 1: Up to $10,000 for equipment and resources
- Tier 2: Up to $30,000 for projects, programs, or minor infrastructure.
Among the successful projects:
- A youth leadership program led by Umeewarra Aboriginal Media Association
- An Auslan learning initiative for families living with disability, supported by Marnbi Aboriginal Corporation
- A safe and inclusive youth hub space in Milang
- Comfort and accessibility upgrades at shelters and playgroups.
Seven Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations received a combined $191,671 — highlighting the importance of culturally strong, community-driven work.
These grants are helping to create stronger, more inclusive communities and supports people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities to feel seen, valued, and connected.
