Grants now open for SA Youth Week 2026

General

Applications are open for grants to help community groups, non-government organisations and local councils run events and activities for SA Youth Week (SAYW) 2026.

2026 dates announced!

SA Youth Week is the largest annual celebration of young people and youth culture in South Australia. SAYW will be held from Thursday 9 April to Friday 17 April 2026.

Supporting youth-focused events

Grants of up to $2,500 are available to support youth-focused events that recognise, celebrate and empower young South Australians aged 12–25. Eligible applicants include community groups, non-government organisations and local councils across both metropolitan and regional SA.

Funded activities should meaningfully involve young people in planning and delivery, celebrate youth culture, create opportunities to express ideas and views, showcase skills and talents, and act on issues that matter to young people. We encourage events that also help the wider community listen to young people and acknowledge their positive contributions.
