Local Heroes Encouraged to Apply for New Social Impact Grants

South Australian community organisations are being offered a boost to bring their ideas for social inclusion and wellbeing to life, with the opening of the 2025–26 Social Impact Grants.
Grants of up to $10K
Grants of up to $10,000 are now available for short-term, community-driven projects that support connection, wellbeing, and resilience, especially in areas facing disadvantage.
Investing in the people who know their communities best
The grants are designed to back organisations already making a difference, giving them the extra support they need to grow local initiatives. In last year’s round, funding helped young people access online services at a crisis shelter, supported mental health through therapeutic art sessions, and enabled regional events like the Loxton Mardi Gras to expand their reach and accessibility.
Whether it’s promoting digital storytelling, hosting inclusive events, or providing practical tools that help people thrive, these grants are about investing in the people who know their communities best.
Applications are open and will close on 21 August 2025.
