Strengthening Community Sheds across South Australia

Community sheds across South Australia can now apply for up to $30,000 in funding to support their growth, connection, and sustainability through the latest round of the Grants SA Community Sheds program.
Creating inclusive spaces for wellbeing
The program is designed to strengthen grassroots community organisations, helping sheds create welcoming spaces where people can connect, share skills, and find purpose — all critical factors in supporting wellbeing and reducing social isolation.
Funding can be used for a broad range of projects, including minor infrastructure upgrades, new tools and equipment, safety measures, sustainability initiatives, communal kitchens or gardens, and volunteer or mentoring programs.
Supporting diversity and inclusion
This round prioritises sheds that engage people facing barriers to inclusion, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, new and emerging culturally diverse communities, people with disability, individuals experiencing financial hardship, and those living in rural or remote areas.
