Plan to implement Royal Commission recommendations
The South Australian Government has released a 5-year plan to implement recommendations of the Royal Commission into Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence. As the Government Steward, the Office of Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence will guide the system towards the common purpose of delivering better services and long-term outcomes.
The plan details the transformational, system-wide reform that will enable a responsive and effective domestic, family and sexual violence system that provides strong outcomes for victim-survivors, people who use violence, and our communities
Whilst the implementation plan sets the direction for future action, significant work is already complete or underway. Each action is a step towards our vision where people of all ages, abilities and identities are safe, respected, and supported to be free from the experience and use of domestic, family and sexual violence.
