Focusing on ageing well through the lens: South Australia’s annual photography competition opens

South Australian Seniors Card members are once again invited to showcase their creativity through the popular Through the Lens photographic competition, now open for entries.

Entries are invited across the following sections:

our state
active ageing
artistic photography
landscape and nature
meaningful connections
portrait.

Finalists and winning entries will be showcased in a public exhibition throughout October at the State Library, with the winners announced on 1 October 2026 - marking the International Day of Older Persons and the start of South Australia’s Week of Ageing Well.

There are a range of fantastic prizes to be won from some of South Australia’s most treasured local businesses.

All South Australian Seniors Card members are eligible to enter by submitting up to four original photographs by Friday 14 August.
