Nominate a volunteer for the Premier's Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Volunteer Service

Premier's Certificate Recognition for outstanding volunteer service. Applications close 30 September 2026.

Each year, the State Government invites volunteer-involving organisations and community groups to nominate their volunteers – both individuals and teams – for the Premier's Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Volunteer Service.

Nominations are now open!

Volunteers are the driving force behind so much of what makes South Australian communities thrive, and this is an opportunity to honour those who go above and beyond.

There's no limit on nominations, so organisations with more than one person or group in mind are welcome to put them all forward.

Nominations close at 11.59 pm on 30 September 2026.

Certificates will be posted to the person that submitted the nomination in time for International Volunteer Day on 5 December, and many organisations choose to celebrate the occasion with a presentation or community event. It's a lovely way to make sure they feel seen and appreciated.
