Helping keep SA schools safe from COVID-19

2021-09-28

Teachers, school site staff and Year 11 and 12 students are being given priority access to COVID-19 Pfizer vaccinations during SA school holidays at the Highgate Park Clinic in Fullarton, operated by the Department of Human Services (DHS).

Walk-in opportunities are among the clinic’s significant expansion over coming months as it starts vaccinating anyone aged 16 and over from Tuesday 28 September, 2021. These may incur a wait at times.

This is an important step to boost vaccination efforts across SA schools, where young children can't be vaccinated at the moment. Increased vaccination rates can help reduce risks during a possible COVID-19 outbreak.
