Applications now open for SA Youth Week 2024 grants

General

In 2024, SA Youth Week (SAYW) will be held from 15 to 24 March. The week celebrates and recognises the value of young South Australians to their communities.

DHS is providing one-off grants of up to $2,000 for community groups, non-government organisations and local councils working with young people to help celebrate SAYW. The grants will support recipients to host events and activities during the week to promote, acknowledge, recognise and encourage all young people to participate in their communities.

As one of the largest annual events on the South Australian youth calendar, SAYW showcases young peoples’ talents, contributions, and achievements; promotes a positive image of young people; acknowledges the common interests of young people as well as their diverse backgrounds and circumstances; and enables young people to express their ideas.
