Free webinar series about the Restrictive Practices Authorisation Scheme

A series of live webinars about the Restrictive Practices Authorisation Scheme for the South Australian disability sector is planned during April and May.

“Most of the webinars are aimed at NDIS service providers and their Authorised Program Officers. However, there are also sessions planned for anyone within the disability community who may be interested in finding more information on the new Restrictive Practices Authorisation Scheme,” says Senior Authorising Officer Trinh Mai.

The webinars, hosted by the Restrictive Practices Unit, will explain topics such as how to use the Restrictive Practices System, how to apply for or authorise restrictive practices, roles and responsibilities within the scheme and more.

The webinars are free to attend but requires pre-registration, and at least two different dates and time slots are available on each topic. Everyone who has an interest in how the use of restrictive practices will work under the new legislation and scheme is encouraged to attend.

Full details on webinar topics, dates and how to register are available on the Restrictive Practices Authorisation Scheme website.
