Volunteer Parade and Celebration – 16 May 2022
2022-05-09

To launch National Volunteer Week 2022, join the parade that brings the city of Adelaide to a standstill. It is a fabulous and fun way to celebrate and acknowledge the almost one million volunteers in South Australia. It is the only parade for volunteers in Australia, and this is the largest and most exciting celebration yet!
Free lunch-time concert and barbecue
Join us in celebrating South Australia’s amazing volunteers at the 10th Annual Volunteer Parade and a free lunch-time concert in Victoria Square, which will include:
- performances featuring RICKI-LEE, ARIA-nominated singer songwriter, and Rachael Leahcar
- Free gourmet barbecue
- Ali Clarke, media personality and Mix 102.3 presenter, as MC
- The Premier of South Australia, Peter Malinauskas and Lord Mayor of Adelaide, Sandy Verschoor.
Volunteering brings people together, it builds communities and creates a better society for everyone.
National Volunteer Week is a chance for all of us to celebrate and recognise the vital work of volunteers and to say thank you.
