Step 1

Is there a concern about drugs or alcohol?

If no, go to step 2

If yes, phone Peter Davies at Drug ARM on 7099 7291 or email peterd@drugarm.com.au

Step 2

Is there a concern about moderate-to-severe or enduring mental health, rapid response or general psychological therapy?

If no, go to step 3

If yes, phone the KI Mental Health Team on 8553 4231 and ask for the duty worker. (Referral by fax to 8553 4277)

You can also phone Summit Health on 8406 7715 (Referral by fax to 8406 7760)

Step 3

Is there concern about general psychological therapies and counselling, bushfire and trauma-related referalls, grief and loss, PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder)?

If no, go to step 4

If yes, phone Summit Health on 8406 7715 (Referral by fax to 8406 7760)

You can also phone the KI Mental Health Team on 8553 4231 and ask for the duty worker. (Referral by fax to 8553 4277)

Step 4

Is there concern about a child or young person under 16?

If no, go to step 5

If yes, phone Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) on 1300 222 647 or 8326 1234. (Referral by fax to 8326 3340)

Step 5

Is there concern about a veteran, ex-veteran or family of a veteran?

If no, go to step 6

If yes, phone Paul Senior at Open Arms on 1800 011 046 or email openarms.clientassist@dva.gov.au

Step 6

For additional psychological services, phone Trent Ames at Psych Med on 7082 3624. (Referral by fax to 7444 4270)
