Disability SA

Notice of Service Closure

On 22 May 2020, DHS closed the last remaining Disability SA offices at Whyalla with outreach to Port Augusta, and Murray Bridge.

With the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and Commonwealth reforms in ageing now in place, the way people in South Australia receive disability funding and services has changed. As there are now a range of non-government providers of NDIS services, the South Australian Government has been transitioning out of relevant service provision since 2018.

For more information about NDIS supports available in your local area, please contact, please contact the NDIS or its Local Area Co-ordinators (LACs) who have offices servicing South Australia.
