Rape or sexual assault support – Yarrow Place

Free and confidential service for people who have recently been raped or sexually assaulted aged 16 years and over at the time of the sexual assault. Yarrow Place also supports people aged 12-25 under the Guardianship of the Chief Executive at risk of sexual exploitation, absconding behaviours or pregnancy that may result in the removal of the child.

Older people

The Adult Safeguarding Unit offers free, confidential information, advice and support to protect the rights of adults at risk of abuse, including older people.

Local support for women and people of marginalised genders

Women’s Information Service (WIS) Havens and Children's Centres are safe local places where women and people of marginalised genders can talk privately with trained volunteers. WIS supports all women, including trans women and sistergirls, as well as non-binary folk.
