Parenting workshops

Families Growing Together run free parenting workshops to help you learn ways to better connect with your children and understand how they develop, learn and play. The workshops also give you positive ways to respond to your children’s behaviours that challenge you.

During the workshops you will be given simple advice and information, plus practical strategies based on the latest parenting research and information to:

  • build an understanding of children and young people
  • explore everyday parenting to build and maintain positive connections with your children
  • offer positive approaches to guiding your children’s behaviour
  • help you find additional support services.

Our workshops are relaxed and informal and run for 2-3 hours (including a break). Workshops are also offered as an online option.

See our Workshop Calendar for upcoming topics and dates.
