The Child and Family Support System (CFSS) continuously monitors and evaluates the impact and effectiveness of our services. We are committed to analysing, understanding, and incorporating evidence into all aspects of service delivery, and to report on and share evidence insights.
Evidence forums
CFSS holds Evidence Forums to present insights and findings about the effectiveness and impact of our system’s services and practices.
Almost 200 government and non-government practitioners from across the state attended an online Evidence Forum delivered by Child and Family Support System (CFSS) on 12 May 2025.
Dr Henry Pharo - Director of Pathways, Evidence and Partnerships (PEP), and Sally Kirk – A/Manager of Clinical Practice with Safer Family Services (SFS), presented findings regarding the impact of the child-centred practice model used across SFS services, demonstrating the high rates of success being achieved with families.
The Forum generated active participation with a number of questions coming through on the Q&A – an important part of the continuous learning and ongoing advancement and shaping of the family support system.
