Checklists
There are many elements to consider in the design and review of playspaces. These checklists provide recommendations for best practice inclusive play design. Not all elements will apply to your playspace and there may be some things specific to your playspace that are not covered. Each place is unique and should respond to community needs, environmental setting and budget. If you would like to know more, please refer to the reference list provided.
The checklists should be used to challenge standard practices and inspire innovative design solutions, which help everyone to connect.
While these guidelines provide recommendations for design, you must review local, state-wide and Australian standards and policies to ensure your design is compliant.
