The Minister for Human Services informed the Council about the recent launch of South Australia’s Plan for Ageing Well 2026-2036, with a discussion held about topics such as the benefits of intergenerational connection for people of all ages, and the need to support young people as volunteers and carers for an ageing population.
DHS engaged with the Council to help plan the launch event for SA Youth Week, which will be held from Thursday 9 April to Friday 17 April 2026.
