Information privacy refers to your right to exercise some control and influence over the way information about you is collected, used, stored and disclosed.

The Department of Human Services (DHS) is committed to protect people's privacy. All DHS staff and agencies are bound by the Information Privacy Principles (IPPs) Instruction issued as Premier and Cabinet Circular No. 12. This document contains the Privacy Principles which guide the collection, use, disclosure and handling of personal information.
