Using spatial (GIS) analysis and participatory ‘Proximity Fresk’ workshops with older residents, it will identify barriers to getting around and co design practical neighbourhood improvements. The findings will inform guidelines and policy recommendations to help create more age friendly, accessible neighbourhoods. | $25,000 |

It will investigate the emotional, cultural and practical factors behind car dependence and, through a co‑design process shaped by the lived experience of older people, councils and transport providers, develop solutions whose format and content emerge from community input.
