As part of South Australia’s Week of Ageing Well, an Ageing Well Expo will provide older people with access to services, resources and information that promote health, independence and overall wellbeing. The Expo program aims to reduce social isolation, celebrate the contributions of older people, and empower them to view ageing as a positive, active and connected part of life. With a theme centred on music, dance and singing, the program fosters joy, social connection and community participation. Participants will also have opportunities to share their life experiences, strengthening respect, understanding and intergenerational connections.	$4,818.00
City of Charles Sturt Council	Charles Sturt LGA	Ageing Well Strategy/Action Plan: Ageing Well Engagement and Wellbeing Pilot Project	The City of Charles Sturt will deliver a pilot initiative that integrates community engagement and wellbeing activities to support older residents and inform future investment. The initiative comprises two key streams. Community Engagement: A specialist partner will lead comprehensive consultation—including co‑design workshops, surveys and listening posts—with a strong focus on engaging people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, Aboriginal communities, and people who identify as LGBTIQA+. Insights gathered will directly inform Council’s first Ageing Well Strategy and Action Plan, with a detailed insights report produced to guide the development of these documents. Wellbeing Pilot: In parallel, Council will trial a range of wellbeing activities (such as tai chi, retirement planning, falls prevention) to assess community interest, feasibility and long‑term sustainability.	$50,000.00
Rural City of Murray Bridge	Murray Bridge	Ageing Well in the Rural City of Murray Bridge	Through this project, Council will develop its first Active Ageing Strategy to enhance the health, wellbeing and social inclusion of older residents and visitors. Guided by the WHO Age-Friendly Cities Framework, the strategy will define Council’s role and establish a clear roadmap for delivering local services, programs and infrastructure that support active, engaged and connected ageing. It will also inform the broader Community Wellbeing Strategy, ensuring long‑term, sustainable outcomes for the district.	$50,000.00
District Council of Loxton Waikerie	Loxton	Season of Creativity	The project positions Loxton as an age‑friendly and inclusive community by supporting older people to remain active, engaged, and connected. Through a co‑designed program of arts and cultural activities—including visual arts, literature, music lessons, photography, paint‑and‑sip sessions, Men’s Shed activities, and culturally based cooking classes—the initiative aims to reduce social isolation and loneliness. Older residents will work alongside project partners to shape a diverse schedule of activities and workshops that reflect their interests and needs. The program will culminate in a showcase during SA's Week of Ageing Well, celebrating the creativity, social connections, and community achievements that emerge from the project.	$48,600.00
City of Onkaparinga	Christie Downs	City of Onkaparinga Positive Ageing Centre (Elizabeth House) - Adaptive Gardening Program	This project aims to empower older adults—particularly those experiencing physical limitations—to enjoy gardening in new, accessible and adaptive ways. Delivered in six‑week blocks, the program offers hands‑on, inclusive sessions that provide practical tools and techniques to help participants begin gardening, manage chronic pain and modify existing gardening practices to suit their abilities. By fostering connection, wellbeing and lifelong learning, the program supports healthy ageing and encourages ongoing engagement with nature and the broader community.	$33,523.00
