Grants SA

Grants SA provides over $3 million in grants annually to community organisations to improve community participation, wellbeing and quality of life for South Australians, particularly those who are experiencing disadvantage.

Through Grants SA, three one-off grant programs, the Charitable and Social Welfare Fund (Community Benefit SA), Multicultural Grants and Volunteer Grants, have been combined into a single application process.

Community organisations only have to apply once to be considered for funding across all program streams.

Funds will be distributed through major (grants from $20,001 to $50,000), medium (grants from $5,001 to $20,000) and minor funding rounds (grants of up to $5,000).

Organisations are eligible to be successful for a maximum of three grants per financial year.

Dates of grant rounds in 2019/20 are expected to be notified in May 2019.
