Retirement villages

A retirement village is a community where older adults can live independently. These villages can offer a supportive environment that encourages social connections and a sense of community among residents.

Retirement Villages Register

The Retirement Villages Unit provides an online register of all retirement villages in South Australia. The register is designed for prospective residents, current residents, families, carers and industry professionals.

Use the register to:

  • search for villages by suburb, postcode, village name, or operator
  • compare key information across different villages
  • find accurate, up‑to‑date details in one place.

The register makes information easier to find and supports transparency across the retirement village sector.
