SA Youth Week (SAYW), South Australia’s biggest celebration of young people aged 12 to 25, has concluded for 2025. The program ran from 9 to 17 April, with more than 75 events held across the state.
Proudly supported by the Department of Human Services, SA Youth Week is held annually and recognises the ideas, talents and contributions of young people in South Australia. The programs feature a diverse range of events created by and for young people, including arts, culture, sports and community-building activities.
As part of the 2025 free launch event, the department also announced South Australia’s Youth Action Plan 2025–2028, a roadmap aimed at providing young people, particularly those facing isolation, disadvantage, and discrimination, with more opportunities to thrive.
Thank you to everyone who participated in, or hosted events, and helped make SAYW 2025 such a success!
