Ageing Well in Mount Barker

Connect, try something new, and celebrate Positive Ageing at the Mt Barker Community Centre Open Day!

Held in celebration of South Australia’s Week of Ageing Well, this FREE community event is dedicated to supporting active, healthy, and meaningful living for older adults in our region.

Whether you're looking to try a new activity, check in on your health, or simply enjoy a fun morning out with local community members, there is something for everyone.

Program and activities:
• Interactive sport activities.
• Live activity demonstrations featuring gentle physical activities suitable for all abilities.
• Health and wellbeing stalls where you can connect with local healthcare providers and access practical health and wellness information.
• Community information stalls featuring local transport options, community programs and support services available in the Mount Barker area.
• Guest speaker presentation: hear an engaging talk focused on health, wellbeing and positive ageing.
• Free community lunch with a BBQ and the opportunity to chat with neighbours, community members and stallholders.

This free event is a great opportunity to stay connected, discover local services and explore ways to support your health and wellbeing as you age.
