Come and Try Walking Football in Mount Gambier

Looking for a fun and social way to stay active? Join the new Walking Football program in Mount Gambier and discover a welcoming sport designed for older adults.

Walking football is a modified version of soccer that replaces running with walking and removes body contact, creating a safe, inclusive and enjoyable activity for people of all fitness levels and abilities. No previous football or sporting experience is required.

Supported by an Office for Ageing Well Impact Research for Ageing Well grant, this program offers a great opportunity to improve fitness, build confidence, meet new people and enjoy being part of a team.

If you live in the Limestone Coast region, come along to Wulanda Recreation and Convention Centre at 5.30pm on Thursday 1 October or Thursday 8 October and give it a try.

Men and women of all abilities are welcome.
