Getting to Know AI at The Brocas

Artificial intelligence is being talked about everywhere, and it can be hard to work out what it actually is, or whether it's worth your time.

This free session is presented as a talk, with demonstrations shown on the big screen:

• Learn what AI is and what it can do.
• Explore how people are using AI in everyday life.
• Understand where AI can get things wrong.
• Learn how to spot scams, including newer scams that use AI.
• Ask questions and take part in the discussion.

No experience with technology is needed.

Volunteers will also be on hand afterwards for anyone who wants help getting an AI app onto their own phone.

Staying connected to people, services and community life supports wellbeing, and being confident with everyday technology is part of that.
