Upcycle Craft Workshop in Port Augusta

Part of the Age Friendly Arts Program series

Celebrate South Australia’s Week of Ageing Well with a fun and creative Upcycle Craft – Let’s See What We Can Create! workshop at Yarta Purtli Art Gallery.

Come along for a fun, relaxed and creative session – let’s see what we can create!

Presented as part of our Age Friendly Arts Program, this free workshop invites people aged 50+.

We’ll have a table full of everyday materials including tin cans, hessian, jute rope, paper cups, beads and more – then it’s time to get creative and see what we can turn them into.

There are no rules and no two creations need to be the same. Reuse it, reinvent it and make it your own!

No previous art experience is needed.

The session is designed to be welcoming, social and enjoyable, providing an opportunity to try something new, connect with others and experience the wellbeing benefits of creativity.
