SA Youth Week (SAYW) is South Australia’s biggest celebration of young people aged 12 to 25.
Proudly supported by the Department of Human Services, SA Youth Week is held annually and celebrates what young people think, create and contribute.
Each year, events created by and for young people range from arts, culture, tech, sport and community activities and more – bringing to life the energy, ideas and talents of young South Australians.
SA Youth Week has now wrapped up for 2026! Thank you to everyone who took part, ran one of the more than 100+ events, or showed up for young people across South Australia.
Stay tuned for SA Youth Week 2027!

Applications for the 2027 SA Youth Week grant will open in late 2026.
Each year, the state government provides funding to local councils and not-for-profit organisations to host events and activities for young people during SAYW 2026.
As part of SAYW 2026, 29 organisations were awarded up to $2,500 to host events across the state. More than half of these projects took place in regional and rural South Australia.
