Julia Farr Disability Inclusion Grant 2025

The South Australian Government, through the Department of Human Services, is offering grant funding for initiatives that promote a more inclusive South Australia for people with disability.

Grant funding will be available in two tiers:

  • Tier 1: Up to $20,000 delivered over 12 months
  • Tier 2: Up to $100,000 delivered over 24 months.

There will be two grant rounds within the 2025–2026 financial year.

During the 2025–2026 grant rounds, DHS is offering funding to eligible organisations for projects that foster Inclusive Environments and Communities.

The state government is seeking applications for creative, community-driven projects that enhance:

  • active participation and inclusive communities
  • inclusive behaviours and attitudes
  • accessibility to natural and built environments
  • accessibility of communication and information
  • cultural and creative participation
  • access to technology and digital inclusion.

Applications open: Tuesday 7 October 2025 at 11.00 am

Information session: Tuesday 14 October 2025 at 2.00 pm

Applications close: Friday 14 November 2025 at 1.00 pm

Notification of outcome: February 2026

Information session

A free online information session will be held on Tuesday 14 October 2025 from 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm. At this session, representatives from the department will provide practical information about:

  • how to apply
  • if you are eligible
  • the key themes and criteria for this grant funding round
  • your responsibilities if you are successful.
